15 minutes to prep , 240 minutes to cook
Scaled to 1 serving
1/2 cup Beef broth or bouillon canned soup (120 g)
1/8 onion Onions (41 g)
1/4 large Green bell pepper (41 g)
(Sliced into rings)
4 oz Beef round (113 g)
(Sliced into 8 steaks)
1/4 cloves, minced Garlic (0.8 g)
1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce (0.7 g)
3/8 tsp Soy sauce (2.2 g)
Directions are for original recipe of 8 serving
Slice beef into 8 steaks; set aside. Dice onion and slice the bell pepper into rings; set aside.
Place the thinly sliced pepper rings in bottom of slow cooker, reserving a few to place on top of meat if desired. (Veggies will cook better when placed on bottom of pot.) Arrange the meat on the peppers evenly, careful to not stack one piece directly on top of another. Mix all other ingredients and pour over meat and peppers.
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for about 4 hours. Recommended to be served with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies, if desired.
